Dudley Zoological Gardens give you and your family the opportunity to get closer to the World’s rarest and most endangered animals, including lions, tigers, lemurs and penguins. The success of our breeding and conservation schemes has seen many of these magnificent creatures survive, despite an uncertain future in the wild. The evidence of our amazing work is apparent, too, in our colony of Humboldt Penguins; which is the largest parent-reared colony of these rare birds in the country. As well as Penguin Bay we have a spectacular daily birds of prey display, that’s a must see!

Follow our animal trail through Lemur Wood, Wallaby Walkthrough and Monkey Tails to meet our mini marsupials and primates in their home environments. We are also home to our baby Bornean Orang-utan, the first Great Ape to be born at Dudley Zoological Gardens for 19years!

As well as our inspired Zoological Gardens, why not head down to the farm and meet micro pigs, pygmy goats, kune kune pigs, giant English rabbits, guinea pigs, alpacas and chicks. The biggest to the smallest; and they’re all bunking down in their happy homes at Dudley Zoological Gardens.

Situated on the A461 3 miles from M5 Junction 2. It you are travelling using a SATNAV then please use postcode DY1 4SQ. Dudley Bus Station is 2 minutes walk from the zoo entrance. Rail: Dudley Port station 3 miles, Sandwell and Dudley station 5 miles. Frequent bus service to Dudley from both stations.

TEASER: Full day of fun for all the family! Visit the BIG cats; lions, leopards and tigers and find out about our other conservation projects. Enjoy visiting all our animals, the farm, fair, face painting, train and more!
